2025 Annual CMaT Trainee Service Awards

 

These awards are part of CMaT’s ongoing commitment to recognizing and celebrating the outstanding contributions made by our trainees across the program.

 

Award Categories

  • Above and Beyond Award – Awarded to a trainee that has gone “above and beyond” expectations in support of CMaT’s mission

  • Outstanding Research Award – Awarded to a trainee who has excelled in CMaT research 

  • Mentoring Award – Awarded to a trainee who has excelled as a mentor

  • Curriculum Enhancement Award – Awarded to a trainee who has excelled in teaching and/or course/module development for CMaT-related courses

  • Outreach Award – Awarded to a trainee who has significantly participated in outreach and community-building endeavors to promote CMaT’s mission

  • Industry Engagement – Awarded to a trainee who has excelled in their interaction and engagement with our industry partners

 

Nomination Deadline: July 11, 2025

 

Recognition:  Award recipients will be honored at the Annual CMaT Summit.

Application & Nomination Process

  • Eligibility
    Open to all CMaT trainees, including High School, Undergraduate, Graduate, and Postdoctoral participants.

 

  • Selection
    Award recipients will be selected by a committee comprised of faculty and staff representatives from Georgia Tech, UGA, UPRM, and UW.

 

Award Recognition Includes:

  • Official certificate presented at the CMaT Summit

  • Social media recognition

  • Feature in the post-summit CMaT Newsletter

  • Spotlight on CMaT social media platforms

  • Public acknowledgment during the Annual CMaT Summit
